Community Partnership Strengthens Substance Use Prevention in Alpena

Up North Prevention is excited to continue our partnership with Alpena Public Schools and the Alpena Police Department to support students and promote healthy, substance-free lifestyles. Through this collaboration, we work together to provide prevention education, positive engagement opportunities, and consistent messaging that encourages students to make healthy choices free from alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

By partnering with schools and law enforcement, we are able to reach students where they learn and grow, reinforce protective factors, and create a supportive environment that prioritizes safety and wellbeing. These partnerships reflect a shared commitment to prevention and to helping young people build the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

Up North Prevention looks forward to continuing this important work alongside Alpena Public Schools and the Alpena Police Department as we invest in the health of students and the broader community.
