Mission:  Advocating for the Human Potential of Presque Isle County Residents

About:

The Presque Isle Coalition ( previously known as the Presque Isle Human Services Coordinating Council) has been in existence for over 25 years.  In 2022 the group transitioned to the newly established Presque Isle Coalition. This diverse group consists of members from various sectors including but not inconclusive of the following; Community services agencies, mental health organizations, domestic abuse advocates, educators, prevention, medical, public health, faith, elderly service organizations and business members.  This group works cooperatively to advance efforts and services to its residents to improve the overall mental and physical health for all.  These efforts include prevention of substance use disorders and other best practices and services that will improve the overall health of our community.   Our coalition received an influx of funding beginning in January of 2023 to conduct community strategic planning and develop and implement the finding targeting the elderly, youth and community-at-large.
