Up North Prevention attended the Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking's Recovery Restoration event in Traverse City on June 15. This event included two guest speakers; Brittany Jacobson, of Freedom Summit Adventures - Women Who Hike Together Heal Together, shared her story of how utilizing the great outdoors can be a source of healing for women who have experienced some form of sexual exploitation and/or human trafficking. Pastor Tonya Carsten, of City Church, shared a message of healing and redemption, providing hope for the future in her presentation.
