Summer Cookout Brings SLS Members Together for Teamwork and Celebration

In an effort to stay connected over the summer break, Students Leading Students (SLS) members gathered for a cookout and work session to create posters promoting their chapter and its goals. These goals include reducing substance use among youth, improving mental health among students and staff, and promoting safety both at school and in automobiles. Students also registered for an upcoming leadership event in July. The gathering served as a fitting sendoff for the chapter’s graduating seniors: Lee, Piper, Hannah, and Jena.
