Up North Prevention Brings the Fun and the Facts to the Family Carnival!

This past Sunday, Up North Prevention joined in on the fun at the Child and Family Services Family Carnival — and what a day it was!

Between the popcorn, face painting, and endless games, our Prevention Specialist had the chance to connect with over 225 local youth (yes, we counted!). It was a fantastic opportunity to engage, share helpful prevention tips, and—most importantly—keep things light, interactive, and fun.

We believe that prevention starts with real conversations, and there's no better place to spark those than a sunny Sunday surrounded by families and laughter. Whether it was through interactive games, silly questions, or just hanging out by the prize wheel, we found creative ways to promote healthy choices and safety—without sounding like a lecture.

A big thank you to Child and Family Services for organizing such a great event, and to everyone who stopped by our booth. We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to be part of more community events like this one!
