The Co-Occurring Conference Coalition presented "Brave New World: Balancing Ethics, Pain Management and Addictions" at the Hagerty Center on April 17, 2023. Ethics in Behavioral Health, Ethical Codes, Ethics in Licensure and Certification, and Ethics in Telehealth, Boundaries, and Information Literacy were covered in depth and with great expertise. Applying treatment for Opioids, Cannabis, and Pain Disorders with antidotal stories made the conference relatable and relevant. Up North Prevention staff had a resource table at the event.
