Students Leading Students Hosts Freshman Recruitment Meeting

The Students Leading Students (SLS) Alcona chapter recently held a recruitment meeting for incoming freshmen for the fall of 2025. Current members spoke about the mission of SLS, the events and activities they sponsor and participate in, and the leadership opportunities available through the program. The meeting was invitation-only, with 12 of the 20 invited students attending—8 of whom expressed interest in participating with SLS this summer and into the fall. Current members led the meeting and are now working on an “Intro to SLS” presentation to share with new members and students at other schools.
