Posen High School Recipient of $1,000 for the Strive for a Safer Drive Campaign

Posen High School Students Leading Students (SLS) chapter was one of 35 schools across the state of Michigan to receive $1,000 from the Ford Philanthropy Strive for a Safer Drive (S4SD) Campaign.  The Posen SLS chapter kicked off their S4SD campaign by having fellow students take the Vulnerable Road Users survey pretest.  Their goal is to have all Posen students participate in the survey pretest.  An incentive for participation was a $50 gift card for one lucky person who participated.  The first hour brought in 40 participants.  The next part of the S4SD campaign is for Posen SLS to do a Seat Belt Observation Survey Report.  SLS will survey teen drivers and passengers in the front seat of a vehicle to see if they are belted or unbelted.  The campaign has various segments that students need to complete before the deadline of May 2025.
