Empowering Youth at the AuSable River Festival

Up North Prevention was proud to participate in Kids' Day at the AuSable River Festival in Crawford County on July 21! Our prevention team spent the day engaging with children and families through fun, interactive activities focused on building important life skills and educating youth about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

We were excited to connect with approximately 500 children and family members, providing prevention education and resources that encourage healthy choices and build protective factors for lifelong well-being. Community events like Kids' Day are a wonderful opportunity to promote positive decision-making in an engaging and family-friendly environment.

The fun doesn't stop there! Join us again on July 25 at Huntington Bank in Grayling during the AuSable River Festival Parade. Our team will be distributing free naloxone and providing information on overdose prevention and local resources. We hope to see you there as we continue working together to build a healthier, safer community.
