Crawford Partnership to End Substance Misuse Teaches Campers Botvins Life Skills

Tabitha Scott, of the Crawford Drug Free Coalition, was able to be a Camp Counselor at Camp 180, a Wesleyan Church Camp offered annually to teens. The teens learned life skills from the Botvins program consisting of effects of drug abuse and smoking, coping with anxiety, coping with anger, communication skills, assertiveness and resolving conflicts. Botvins is an evidence-based program that helps promote health and personal development through discussions, games, and work sheets.
