Crawford Partnership to End Substance Misuse Connects with Students at Kirtland Community College

The Crawford Partnership to End Substance Misuse has maintained a strong partnership with Kirtland Community College (KCC) for many years. Through this collaboration, the coalition works to support KCC students and faculty while also providing education on substance misuse prevention, reducing stigma, and promoting recovery.

Our new prevention specialist, Andrea Schans, recently spent an afternoon on campus interacting with students and sharing naloxone, prevention literature, and popcorn. The visit provided an opportunity to connect with students, raise awareness, and share important resources.

Andrea’s next visit to KCC will take place on April 28, when she will be on campus to support and encourage students as they head into their final week of the semester.
