Bringing Prevention to the Heart of the Community

The Live Well Kalkaska Substance Free Coalition is excited to once again be a vendor at the Kalkaska Farm Market. For more than six years, we have enjoyed being part of this community tradition, connecting with residents while supporting local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. The market provides a wonderful opportunity for community outreach. It allows us to share information about coalition programs, prevention efforts, family-friendly activities, and volunteer opportunities in a welcoming environment where meaningful conversations happen naturally. We are proud to support a market that promotes healthy living through fresh produce, natural foods, and handcrafted goods while strengthening our local economy and sense of community. Visitors to our booth can enjoy popcorn and beverages for a donation to support coalition programs and projects. The familiar aroma of fresh popcorn often brings people to our table, creating opportunities to connect, answer questions, and build relationships. At Live Well Kalkaska, we believe prevention starts with community connection. We look forward to another season at the market and the opportunity to engage with residents while working together to create a healthier, safer, and stronger Kalkaska County.
