2025 Sticker Shock Campaign: Community Partnership & Youth Prevention Efforts

Up North Prevention partnered with businesses in Presque Isle County to implement the 2025 Sticker Shock Campaign. This year, four local businesses took part in the initiative, collectively applying approximately 1,000 stickers to various take-out items distributed at their establishments.

The Sticker Shock Campaign is a youth-led prevention effort aimed at raising awareness about the dangers and legal consequences of providing alcohol to minors. This initiative supports both ongoing and new community engagement strategies by fostering collaboration, encouraging civic involvement, and strengthening community efforts to prevent underage drinking.

Specifically, Project Sticker Shock targets individuals aged 21 and over who may consider illegally purchasing alcohol and supplying it to minors. Through visible messaging on consumer packaging, the campaign delivers a strong reminder of the laws and responsibilities surrounding alcohol provision to youth.
